  • Set up 16 new foreign subsidiaries, branches and representative offices
  • Put in place 8 international sales agent agreements and 14 distributor agreements in Asia, Latin America, Europe and Middle East
  • Set up joint ventures in Brazil, Korea, India and Malaysia and prepared related technology licenses
  • Responsible for international regulatory matters (Anti-Boycott and Foreign Corrupt Practices Act); legal maintenance of international subsidiaries; and worldwide trademarks
  • Chaired cross-functional team of International Finance and Administration managers
  • Established an alliance with Belgian computer company including shareholding and technology license
  • Drafted and negotiated a joint software development agreement with Swiss university
  • While living in England for six months, set up new European headquarters operation
  • Drafted and negotiated a manufacturing license and two large sales contracts in China
  • Negotiated and drafted computer distributorships in Taiwan, Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand
  • Handled all legal aspects of the sale of Honeywell's computer business in 1987 in five Asia/Pacific countries
  • Participated in business/legal team which negotiated the French Government's nationalization of Honeywell's share in CII-Honeywell Bull in 1982
  • Prepared documents for and participated in an international commercial arbitration in The Hague
